Not all transactions are considered to be Purchases and eligible to earn rewards, such as transactions posting as Convenience Checks; Balance Transfers; Advances (including ATM withdrawals, wire transfers, traveler's checks, money orders, foreign cash transactions, betting transactions, and lottery tickets); interest charges and fees; credit insurance premiums; and transactions to (i) fund certain prepaid card products, (ii) buy currency from the U.S. Mint, or (iii) buy cash convertible items. Upon approval, see your Cardmember Agreement for details. A purchase will not earn additional rewards if the merchant's selected code is in a category that is not eligible for additional rewards earning. We do not determine the category codes that merchants choose and reserve the right to determine which purchases qualify for additional rewards.

Account must be open and in good standing (not past due or overlimit) on the closing date of the billing cycle to earn and redeem rewards and benefits. Subject to applicable law, you may not redeem rewards, and you will immediately lose all of your rewards, if your Account is closed to future transactions (including, but not limited to, due to Program misuse, failure to pay, bankruptcy, or death). Upon approval, please refer to your Cardmember Agreement or Rewards Program Rules in the online Rewards Center by logging into usbank.com for additional information.

    In order to be eligible for the one-time $250 bonus, you will need to spend a minimum of $2,000 in Net Purchases on your new U.S. Bank Shopper Cash Rewards Visa Signature Card within 120 days after Account opening. The bonus is not available to Cardmembers who currently have, or had, a U.S. Bank Shopper Cash Rewards Visa Signature account.     Cardmember must enroll each quarter into two retailers and one purchase category of their choice, or all net purchases (purchases minus returns or credits) will earn no more than 1.5% Cash back. Allow up to 3 business days for registration to take effect before you will be eligible to earn 3% Cash Rewards and 6% Cash Rewards. You will earn 6% Cash back on your first $1,500 in combined net purchases at your two chosen 6% retailers. You will earn 3% Cash back on your first $1,500 in net purchases in your chosen 3% category. IMPORTANT CHANGE: Effective April 14, 2025, gas station and electric vehicle charging station purchases at discount stores/supercenters, wholesale clubs and grocery stores/supermarkets will no longer qualify for the gas station and electric vehicle charging station everyday category and will only earn 1.5% cash back. There are no limits on your 1.5% Cash Rewards earnings. During any calendar quarter in which you spend more than $1,500 combined at your two 6% retailers, you will earn 1.5% Cash Rewards for any additional spend at those retailers during that quarter. During any calendar quarter in which you spend more than $1,500 in your one 3% category, you will earn 1.5% Cash Rewards for any additional spend in that category during that quarter. Transactions qualify for 6% or 3% Cash Rewards based on how merchants classify the transaction. Merchants that accept Visa credit cards are assigned a merchant code, determined by the merchant or its processor. U.S. Bank makes every effort to include all relevant merchant category codes in its listed Retailer and Purchase Categories. As U.S. Bank cannot control how merchants choose to classify transactions, we cannot guarantee a transaction will qualify for 3% and 6% Cash Rewards. Merchant subsidiary purchases and third-party delivery services are not eligible for additional Cash Rewards earning and will earn 1.5% Cash Rewards. Purchases not eligible for additional Cash Rewards earning will earn 1.5% Cash Rewards. U.S. Bank reserves the right to change Retailers and Purchase Categories. In addition to earning 1.5% Cash Rewards for every $1 in eligible Net Purchases, Shopper Cash Rewards Cardmembers will earn an additional 4% Cash Rewards for every $1 in eligible Net Purchases spent on prepaid car and hotel reservations in the Rewards Center using your Shopper Cash Rewards card. Please allow 1-2 statement billing cycles for your bonus Cash Rewards to appear on your credit card statement.

    From time to time we may offer to you the benefit of our U.S. Bank ExtendPay® Plans, which allow you to pay off balances in fixed monthly payments over time and still avoid paying interest charges on new Purchases. You may designate up to 50% of your credit card line ($100 minimum) in eligible credit card purchases and pay in monthly installments with just a small fixed monthly fee. Only Purchase balances are eligible for ExtendPay Plans. Transactions identified as Advances or Balance Transfers (as defined in your Cardmember Agreement), and any interest or fees, including Annual Fee, do not apply. The only Purchases that will appear as "Eligible Purchases" in the enrollment process are Purchases that were made within 60 days prior to signing up for an ExtendPay Plan, are over $100, and are less than your Purchase balance when you sign up for an ExtendPay Plan. Any unpaid balance remaining on an ExtendPay Plan after the chosen pay-back period will be subject to the APR and minimum payment calculation for purchases outlined in the Cardmember Agreement.
