含义是「Not feeling as one normally should, either physically, mentally, emotionally, etc」,即「身体/精神/心理状态不如平常」。例句:
- I’m sorry for getting upset at you earlier, I’m just not myself today.
- I know Mary hasn’t been herself ever since she lost her job.
- I haven’t been feeling myself lately / I haven’t been myself lately.
2、可以考虑「not (one’s) day」
含义是「A day that has been particularly stressful, difficult, disappointing, or filled with unfortunate events for one; not a good day」,但这更常用于表达「诸事不顺/运气不佳」。例句:
- I can’t believe I got locked out of the apartment. This is just not my day.
- I’m sorry, sweetie, I know you studied hard for that test. It just wasn’t your day.
- It’s not my day. It hasn’t been my day / week / month / year.
3、可以说「I’ve been feeling stuck / (stuck) in a rut / Nothing is going as planned / I need a change」
Rut 是车辙,stuck in a rut = Seemingly trapped or stuck in a mundane, non-changing pattern of life, work, or personal behavior,「(主要是心理上)困住了」。
4、可以说「I’ve been on an emotional roller coaster.」
Off 的一层含义是「below the usual standard or rate」,「不如平常」、「(脑子)不大在线」,或「characterized by performing or feeling worse than usual; unsatisfactory or inadequate」,比如:
- I’m having an off day today – I just can’t seem to do anything right!
- I’m a little off today, not really feeling very good.
- Even the greatest athletes have off days.
6、可以考虑「Brain is not functioning」
My brain is not functioning today —
7、可以考虑「I‘m / My brain is mixed up / messed up」,有「(脑子)糊涂了/一团糟」的意思。
