延期到什么时候，通常情况下取决于你自己的安排。之前有读者误解，询问 USCIS 是否会「自动批6个月」 — 不会。在这种特殊时期，因为外部不可抗力、无法准确预计何时能归国，建议按最长时间来申请，即6个月，并在申请信中解释清楚，类似于：「I’d like to extend my legal stay for six months, until xx xx, 2020, because the Coronavirus outbreak in China is still rapidly evolving and at this time there’s no way to predict when the flights between U.S. and China will resume and when it will be safe for me to travel back to China.」
